Overview

A Lively Learning Experience

There is a growing need for a Chabad Yeshiva Gedola (ages 17-19) that combines a strong educational foundation with a transparent, supportive, and growth-focused environment. Yeshivas Lubavitch Tiferes Yisroel (YLTY) was founded to meet this need—creating a place where bochurim develop a deep passion for Yiddishkeit, Chassidus, and the Rebbe’s vision.

At YLTY, we foster personal independence, empowering each student to grow with confidence and authenticity. Through a dynamic balance of rigorous learning, immersive experiences, and genuine mentorship, our Yeshiva cultivates strong, resilient, and inspired Chassidim who are ready to illuminate the world.

Cultivating Growth Through Collaboration

We prioritize a healthy partnership between students, parents, and staff through frequent student-teacher meetings, bi-weekly assessments, and detailed monthly reports on both academic and personal progress. Recognizing the challenges of young adulthood, we provide individualized guidance, access to professional resources, and integrate therapeutic techniques into our educational approach to ensure every bochur receives the support he needs.

Curriculum

Discovery and Learning

At YLTY, our learning approach is designed to cultivate curiosity, independence, and a deep connection to Torah. In the initial stages, we focus on building foundational skills—ensuring bochurim understand the structure and context of each Sugya while developing confidence in their learning.

As their abilities progress, we emphasize critical thinking and deeper analysis, training students to isolate key questions, define core concepts, and engage with Torah on a profound level. Ultimately, our goal is to empower each Talmid to develop an independent, lifelong relationship with learning—one that continues to inspire and guide them well beyond their years in Yeshiva.

GEMARA LE’IYUN

At YLTY, students master a highly analytical approach to learning, enabling them to explore a wide range of Gemara subjects in depth. Through the lens of Rishonim, Achronim, and Halacha, they develop the ability to dissect complex sugyos, refine their reasoning skills, and build a strong foundation for advanced Torah study.

GEMARA LE’GIRSA

Our unique curriculum goes beyond traditional Gemara and Rashi, incorporating Tosfos study as a core component. While this presents an initial challenge, our structured approach helps bochurim build fluency and proficiency in Tosfos, strengthening their overall learning ability and broadening their comprehension of the Sugya.

Trips & Off-Campus Programs

Learning Through Experience

At Yeshivas Lubavitch Tiferes Yisroel, we believe that true growth happens not only within the walls of the Beis Medrash but also through real-world experiences. Our diverse extracurricular programs provide bochurim with opportunities to develop independence, resilience, and a deeper connection to their Yiddishkeit.

Through immersive Halachic field studies, student-led initiatives, and hands-on exploration of Eretz Yisroel, we integrate learning with real-life application—ensuring that our talmidim develop both spiritually and personally in a dynamic and meaningful way.

PRACTICAL HALACHA APPLICATION

We bring Halacha to life by arranging visits to Jewish institutions such as Batei Dinim, the Tzomet Institute, Kashrus organizations, and local Eruvin. Our students meet with Rabbonim and Shluchim to gain insight into community leadership, Halachic challenges, and real-world solutions, giving them a practical perspective on the relevance and impact of Torah in daily life.

We are raising individuals who feel empowered to disseminate the wellsprings of Chassidus, Torah, and Mitzvos to the broader world confidently. No matter who a person is, where or in what capacity they find themselves, the Rebbe charged his Chassidim to act as emissaries of light and positivity. At YTLY, we imbue our students with the selfassurance to act as independent leaders by instilling a deep-seated passion for the Rebbe’s vision.
